Our journey begins at Varanasi Junction (BSB) aboard the 22500 Varanasi–Deoghar Vande Bharat Express. We travel towards Gaya Junction (GAYA), one of the important stops on the route. The train leaves Varanasi early in the morning and reaches Gaya in roughly 3 hours.

From Gaya, the adventure continues by local bus 🚌 towards Rajgir. Our bus fare was approximately ₹200 per person.
The road journey gives us a completely different view of Bihar — villages, agricultural fields, roadside life, rivers and the changing landscape as we move towards Rajgir. We also experience the surroundings near the Neranjana River before continuing towards the historic Rajgir region. 🌿🚌
